Let’s face it, dieting sucks and losing weight is hard. Weight loss programs are hard to follow unless you love fruits and vegetables and love to sweat even more. But not everyone is made to be so disciplined.

Because weight loss is so hard for so many, diet miracles are all around us. One miracle is a prescription pill that allows you to eat anything you want because it stops your body from absorbing fat. The bad news is that it stops your body from absorbing all fats, good and bad.

Your body needs good fats to survive. Good fats feed your brain, keep your hormones balanced and feed your skin and hair. If you don’t get them, you set yourself up for depression, premature wrinkles and even hair loss. Maybe not absorbing those good fats does not sound so smart, after all.

The next miracle weight loss solution is to take a pill for your hormones. Maybe you have heard of this solution… take this pill to regulate your thyroid. So you do, and you’re still fat, so what happened? The typical answer is that if you did not take this miracle pill, you would probably be fatter. Right.

The modern “fad” or buzz words are that you can eat anything you want and still lose weight. Unfortunately they usually mean one day a week while the other six still requires a very disciplined diet.

However, it is difficult for many people to start the diet all over again because food allergies or cravings may be triggered by the free day. This can cause failure and frustration. It can also make it more difficult to try another program.

Another way to eat anything you want while losing weight calls for purchasing mail-order food that is a lower fat, lower calorie version of your favorite foods. These tend to be very expensive. In addition, these foods generally contain many chemicals used from food processing to flavor enhancing and may even contain fake oils that can cause digestive problems.

What is the best way to lose weight and eat anything you want? It seems like this might only be a dream and not reality. Eating what you like, when you like will not help you lose weight.

But there is a way to have flexibility after you lose weight. A body cleanse seems to be an answer that many are finding works. Of course, you do not get to eat anything you want. This may be due to the fact that a cleanse helps your body detoxify and eliminate environmental toxins that interfere with hormonal balances, which in turn can cause cravings. Also, the healthy diet and supplements supply more nutrition, which is important since many craving stem from nutritional deficiencies.

Body cleansing may be the new and only way to reach the dream of eating anything you want, although moderation is still necessary. As said, maybe you cannot do this to lose weight but you certainly have more flexibility after you have lost it.
